About Alpacas

Originates in Peru of South America (high altitude of 3000-5000 m in the Andes Mountains). Family of Camel. They are 150-175 m high, weigh approximately 7kg at birth and 80 kg as adults, and live approximately for 20 years. In the Andes, they are mainly raised for their wool and very popular to make warm luxury sweaters.

Admission Fees: adults-900 yen, grade school and younger-500 yen, children under 3-free.

Groups (15 or more): adults-850 yen, grade school and younger-450 yen.

Opening days: late March to end of January of following year.

Opening hours: 10:00 am-16:00 pm.

Closed: Tuesdays (with exceptional days off).

Winter openings

December and January 10:00 am-15:00 pm.

Closed: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Alpaca derby: Week days at 14:15 pm. weekends and holidays at 11:30 am and 14:15 pm.

You can be close to Alpaca, be able to pet friendly Alpacas and feed them and take a photo with them!

Alpaca Derby

This is a popular event at the farm! Cheer them while they run at full speed.

 Weekdays: 15:15 pm, weekends and holidays: 11:15 am, 15:15 pm.

You can watch the Darby from side walk.

Paca ticket-500 yen (you can bet the race and price will be doubled if you win!

It can also be used at gifshop)

Wakuwaku Field

Theare are Exhibitions of Alpaca. small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs

Taking a walk with alpaca

Take Alpaca for a walk along the trail with your family and friends.

 1,000 yen per walk. limited number per day.

 You can take up to 5 people with you to the trail.

 Subject to change or cancellation without notice due to the weather or animal condition.

Gift shop Alpaca house

There are variety of Alpaca knit wear and goods directly imported from Peru. Also soft drinks and ice cream corn and snacks are available.

Alpaca Kitchen

Alpaca Curries and a bowl of rise topped with seasoned beef are served.

Friendly alpacas await for you at Fujimi Kogen, at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, you may see the Mt. Fuji, the North and South Alps far and away.

Alpacas are naturally very cautious animals. However, our Alpacas are raised in a very warn and close atmosphere since thier birth at the farm. So they be came very friendly to the people. Alpacas are also very unique you may find some as very shy, or aggressive or funny and sweet.
